Ted Smith began his legal career as an active-duty Army JAG legal assistance officer with III Corps at Fort Hood, advising soldiers and their families on the same kinds of problems the firm handles today. He opened his Killeen practice in 1976, has been board certified since 1983, and has spent the decades since representing Central Texas families in disability, estate, probate, and injury matters.
